Local Weather

The Limousin has four distinct seasons, each with its own appeal. In the Correze spring is a lovely time of year when everything bursts into life; the days can often be hot and sunny, although there are some pretty hefty showers too. Summers are generally fairly hot, but the heat often sets off dramatic storms. The autumn is often slow to arrive and the sunny days show off the wonderful colours in the woodlands. The early part of the winter can be quite wet and cold and from late January onwards the possibility of snow increases.
